Governor Mark Dayton has already said he'll sign this legislation tomorrow, Tuesday May 14. When he does, Minnesota will become the twelfth state in the US to legally recognize same-sex civil marriage. Followup to my post of Thursday May 9 2013.

Minnesota DFL (Democrat Farmer Labor) controls the state Senate, and will vote on this measure next week. If it passes, Governor Mark Dayton has vowed to sign it. I'm stunned; just a year ago we were fighting to defeat an amendment to the state Constitution that would have outlawed same-sex unions.
