I was. the TV is better now. although subtracting infomercials, reruns and regular ads, I suspect there may actually be less of it. |

I was twelve. We were years behind the US in terms of their TV (I think they strapped the tapes to migrating whales and hoped for the best). We made our own fun, and it was mostly terrible. |

That ad for House of Lies plays before almost every single clip, with Kristen Bell delivering a horrifyingly memorable non sequitur line meant to increase interest in the show among those who would like to know what the hell Kristen Bell is talking about. I don't know why, but that line has been stuck in my head for days now, and it's making me sad. |

I get that ad, too. And that line is pretty random. I'm a lot more annoying than Ebichuman, so I've taken dropping it into conversation. |
