so that during the heated political posting, a handful of folks would down mod folks till posts would disappear. And since many of my posts where so similar, it became a contest of sorts. Sort of silly, but its great being loved or at least read. And having higher karma or points allows you to post more, and not have to 'cool-off' and wait.

I found trying to be believed to an extent as a 'female writer' much like i had fun cross dressing in my teen years, so being you for a while allowed me to attempt to fight for woman's issues, talk about sexuality, birth control and family issues I identified with while living with strong woman. And many of those traits I found reading your posts over time.

It was unfair, not knowing you or asking if you would mind. And I guess I formed a sort of following here, which was hard to let go of. I wish you well and I hope this goes someway to correct things.

(At some point I could prostrate myself before you and receive the lashes deserved, and as folks at SE say pics or it didn't happen.)

My take, for what it's worth:

On his/her SE profile page, the person now known here as 'tamp' (et. al.) posted a picture and website link of an attractive young woman, inferring that he/she was that person. That actual person somehow got wind of this, and has joined SE as 'Glossolalia Black', specifically to refute the notion that she is tamp. This post, I suppose, is tamp's effort to come clean.

Perhaps if the actual Glossolia Black is reading this she can validate this hypothesis.

Don't misunderstand me. I'm still pissed, and I'm still freaked out. But, really, what would that have helped in dealing with this?

Someone has been using my face to say wacky shit. This is not a cool thing to do. The wacky shit isn't really that different from the type I've been through, so the wacky shit isn't the problem.

It's that, for four years, you guys apparently thought I was the source of it.

It bothers me that Tamp took some of the more "salacious" parts of my past and drew conclusions with it that I never would have.

Two main differences between me and Tamp:

1.) I don't pose as other people online
2.) I am considerably less full of "woo"

Not an excuse, but SE works so well on many levels, but the negative mod system is self negatively reinforcing, besides stopping flame wars and really bad or weak content, allows a small relative small group of folks to effectively act as sensors every bit as effective as fox news. And 80% of what I have said is true, the truth is right in front of us, naked, horrible, stinking, everything opposite of god, goddess, spirituality, spreading democracy and freedom is like AIDS or Canser, something you would not really wish on folks unless yo hated them, the would and planet, it will be called Rape and Awe capitalism in some far future, if these crazy fucks who hate their mothers, themselves and the earth so much, succeed in killing all oceans, lands, people just like their retarded books said. So many of my hero's wrote under pseudonyms, I decided to as well. What I have learned though is that people who blog that I respect and admire often and always have written as themselves. That imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery, especial when you loose sight or sound of the object of your desire.

That as time went on my own voice was being found, that to reclaim your own words and idea's is forever clouded and in doubt when built even on tiny lies. That for awhile the role playing games, the adventures in themselves can be good, can still rise some discussion and hopefully action. I have meet so many great hearted and thinking people here and on various blogs by Leslie and others. But the fun and potential allies to be formed, melt on the door of reality, castles built of profiles, ephemeral and confusing for the actor, shaman clown in meta world.

Any great Web-Wizards, please help Leslie detach direct associations with any and all of my stream of conscious virtual art installation.

I had planned for years to somehow get a gallery show, and somehow show with multimedia, printouts and sculpture to represent what SE is. And at this great show/SE get together, we would all laugh n celebrate. And in this dream, some of the many players involved would shine in their own light, and they would get recognition of their arts n minds.

This may seem stupid, from someone who has written, posted and copy and pasted so much from so many places on the web. And one night I found your myspace and wished I could communicate and care and write as you do. I tried to imagine myself able to write whole sentences, paragraphs and articles that were pleasing to read, effective, on topic and with one voice. I still believe our cyberpunk gods will some day make the virtual world so addictive, flexible, the the senses as imagined in so much fiction like Logans Run, and the whole concept of jacking in, seeing for real through other folks senses and feelings. Crappy thing to do to the woman whose photo you used. Very uncool. You could have arranged to obtain a woman's photo to use by consent, or simply not used a photo - so needless as well. I cannot condone that, and I suggest that you make that cool however you can - beyond coming clean.

That said, I don't know why it matters what gender you are, or whether you are writing in persona or as yourself. SE does not require that we each post under our real names, or that we provide proof of identity. So why do we care if Tamp is real, or Maryyugo is male or female, or what have you?

People are typing interesting stuff and we get to respond. What else is there?
