Wow, fascinating. I feel like I just put on the "They Live" glasses and now I see everything the way it really is. I don't find it too disturbing though - every era of film-making has a look based on what the technology is. The orange and teal thing will just be the look for this particular time. We'll all be nostalgic for orange and teal in 30 years. |

as non-plot-tastic as it was, Speed Racer was a joy to watch. I saw it in IMAX and left thinking it was great but realizing that I had no idea if it was actually good. It is also my justification for seeing some movies in IMAX. If you go to see Shutter Island it will pretty much be like watching shutter island. There isn't an option to make it better for an additional $5. Speed Racer was undoubtably improved by being seen in IMAX. |

I scored eleven. With my previous, far superior monitor, I think I got 1-2 points. |

Nifty. This is new to me. And I hadn't heard of the "orange and teal" thing, but it seems like it might point to the reason I feel like I am seeing the same movie over and over again. More to the point, I do like this, as I make jewelry, and just poking around is giving me so many ideas.....so....many.... |

There is only one color palette that is needed (at least in movies) |
