I lurked back at grey SE, but damned if I can remember the year.

I just had my third "fuck, I'm getting old" moment.

Moment 1: Starting to like eggplant

Moment 2: Looking for my glasses while wearing them on my face (not the sunnies up on top of head thing). It was only for about 3 seconds before I realised, but the damage was done.

Moment 3: Emphatically thinking "Thank god for liquorice"

If you see me purchasing a pair of carpet slippers, you can shoot me. Just try to make it painless...

I have been thinking for a while now that I want to make a one-off newspaper commemorating SE. A compendium of cultural landmarks, wit and wisdom of the place. And some stuff SErs have done elsewhere that should be shown to a wider audience. Does this sound like a good idea?

If we can get a few hundred quid in donations we can afford printing a few hundred, and then they'll be free to anyone who can pay postage. Here's the place I was thinking of. I know I have some interest for designing/laying out the actual pages, and I am sure someone will volunteer to be a US distribution hub (to save everyone paying for shipping from the UK)

Anyway, yeah, reading through this post is quite inspiring. God bless you, everyone.
