Sensible Stargate: Day Seven
It was a solemn night. People seemed to realize that, with so few left, the end was near. For better or for worse.
Silent was found dead, he had both been beaten nearly beyond recognition, and his body badly burned. Apparently several different parties had wanted him dead. Unfortunately for the town, he was the Doctor, capable of protecting someone each night. This did not bode well for the town. With the last of the known Tok'ra dead, and the only person who could keep anyone safe from the Goa'uld dead, dark times were ahead.

Well, someone has to get this started. shiney things has come up on the voting block a few times, and keeps distracting people away from herself with talk of her feminine type accessories. I say its time we stopped being distracted, and point the finger of accusation in her direction. |

It was a quiet day, almost everyone eyed each other warily from across the lot where they had their tents. A few people spoke up to point fingers at each other, but overall it was just deathly quiet. Finally, macst34 stood up and proclaimed "I am your god, bow down before me, and you may be spared my coming wrath!" His eyes glowed with the fire of his words, shiney things stood up to protest, but was swiftly brought down by a pair of jaffa: fwee and cool_drool. "You will give your god the respect he deserves, or you will dies," one of them spat at the crowd, as he snapped shiney things' neck with mechanical precision. The stand-off had ended, the Goa'uld had won. Mafia google group Mason google group I'll get around to posting more information later. Probably. |

So how did Brat#3 get the armband? I gave it to shinythings because she had been investigated and come up townie - but a quick perusal of the mafia group indicatest hat Brat#3 thought I had given it to her. I was torn about revealing who we knew to be innocent. Should have in retrospect. I expected shineythings to give the armband back to myself or pel, but when that didn't happen I failed to act on that problem. |

Ah. And there went the game. If we'd kept control of the armband (between trusted townie and mason group), we would have continued to have 2 investigations per night. But by failing to use the armband it went to a random player - and that enabled them to wipe out both known masons at once. My mistake was not revealing the safe list before I died once it became clear that the armband didn't come back. An opportunity to recover was lost when neither known mason was protected by our town doctor on the night that we were both targeted. If one of us has survived that night, we could have revealed the short list of trusted townies. (Any surviving of spite48 (mason), Pel(mason), Foobar (mason investigator), Shineythings(investigated), TheCooler (early investigation by KP, known townie), Archangel_2(investigated)) Still that momentary explosion of parasite violence and mutual kills was a beautiful thing.
