Just out of curiosity, how did you two comment on my post 3-6 hours before I even thought of creating it? If that's your super power... ...I'm mildly impressed! |

Yeah, if you look it up on youtube there's a version where it's synched up properly though (although it is in two parts) |

Really, you guys have problems with it? It's playing fine for me... Does anyone have proper sound sync, or is this for everyone? |

Alright--I've figured out what the problem is. Should have a fixed video up soon, for what it's worth. |

Love this one--Have the DVD. There's a related series called Nekojiru Gekijou. It's kind of funny, but it seems comparatively nihilistic and isn't nearly as satisfying as Nikojiru Sou... |

I fucking love Mind Game! I'm not even remotely connected to the world of animated film and TV, japanese or otherwise, but I love the style used in Cat Soup and Mind Game. I've been trying to find similar titles, but everyone just wants to recommend me animes and shit :( |

The movements in that second one are weird. They're kind of realistic, but not really. Just look at her stagger right at the beginning, no human being moves like that. Her limbs also accelerate and decelerate wrong. Very uncanny valley. |

I think that's Studio 4°C. They have an idiosyncratic way of animating movements, like a sort of drunken slippery falling between keyframes. Madhouse is another studio that does the same thing. I think it's on purpose, though there's no accounting for taste... |

Out of the animations I watched made by them (Spriggan, Mind Game and Tekkon Kinkreet being the other ones) this is the only one that feels off to me. Or at least it was more obvious in Mind Game and less distracting as a result. |
