Weird. Reminds me of Sophie Merry, of course. |

Too bad the game is only 2 levels... And that can't be a real commercial. It's got to be from SNL or something. Right? Please? |

Sorry, it's real. Contractually obliged, and such, apparently. |

8-bit Veridis Quo is just too damn trippy for words. |

That one reminds me of Battle of Olympus for some reason. |

Or possibly the posh inn/knight's guild theme in Wizards & Warriors III. |

I normally wouldn't comment on a video like this, but the guy's hair/mustache situation reminded me of myself. This could have been a really cool video except for a couple of things. Either the live action or the animation had to go. They didn't work together, but separately they were interesting. I know he's going for the mad musician look, but his facial expressions did not match the song well, and her outfit + hair did not flatter her face although I think she would be very becoming in something a little better suited to her. The minute and a half of end credits at the end was overkill for a music video. At most, a link to the website and credits posted on the website would have been acceptable. I'm sorry to be negative, I do like the song, I just think that if this is your friend and he has any desire to reach a good size audience he might want to re-think some of the visual choices here. I think there is some nice talent here, but it's buried in too much folderol. I couldn't help but imagine in my head a guy with a bag of leaves just off camera throwing them into frame. One of the very best images of this piece was the cymbal monkey clapping along with the music, and then it gets ruined by superimposing the same monkey from a different angle. My opinion is probably unwarranted here, so I'll stop. |

I've been listening to Anamanaguchi - Danger Mountain (Training Montage Remix by Makeup and Vanity Set) a lot recently. I think chiptune music has a lot of potential beyond the nostalgia factor. That being said, I like this collection. Thank you for an actually worthwhile music link! |
