quote [ A superflu devastates the United States, leaving only a few survivors. These survivors gravitate towards either the side of good or evil, driven mainly by very vivid dreams in the aftermath of the plague. The climax is a final showdown between good and evil in Las Vegas, Nevada. ]
Hey, didn't the last game have a pox?
It's the 10th round of a non-title fight, and both sides think they're behind on the scorecards. Games are won and lost today, even if the game may not necessarily end today. No more on that though: Who wants to win more, the tourists or the mob?
[mafia game] [by Hipatitis!@4:16pmGMT] [+6 Good] As the two sides discuss strategy in the corner, badgerbaiter's lifeless body laid solemnly in the club level skybox above. He was a townie, who arrived at the Golden Monolith to promote this battle before us. Nope: People I suspect: graham, blood_hawk, beerboy, with a maybe on Hito and an even smaller maybe on Equinophobe. brat#3's list was extremely helpful in this game ;) |

brat#3

Sure it was... good thing you killed me, because I'd already struck blood_hawk and equino off as being bad guys :P But seriously, anyone bringing me up as a reason to kill anybody four days after I was killed? Suspect :P I only thought there were five mobsters, so anyone after Hito and Beerboy was a new game as far as my 'list' was concerned. The thing about that list was I never said/thought ALL of them are mobsters, and after Hito, Graham and Beerboy turned out to be mafia it was even less likely equino was. GO BACK AND READ THE HISTORY, PEOPLE. After BNB got killed you stopped TALKING. That's what got town killed. |
|
pel
said @ 8:28pm GMT on 5th Jun
You stopped reading too early, foo. If graham is mob, then pel is not. Based on today and day three, if graham is mob then equinophobe is not as they voted together day three but now equino votes for him. |

But then again, considering you were mob, it's not surprising you were (deliberately) misreading the analysis. |

foobar, kishi, Stension, Equinophobe, and pel. The last survivors. Assuming there's mob left, I can't see there being more than one. Also, isn't the foregin diplomat still alive? So it would be 1 mob 1 FD, 0 mob 1 FD.... Knowing that I'm just a townie, there are 4 suspects in my eyes. Pel is suspicious for the first vote against Fwee yesterday, but my suspicions lie more with Equinophobe who quickly followed. |

Equinophobe and his camera were unceremoniously dumped into cubic cement block, and sunk inside Lake Mead. Indeed, for Equinophobe, it was not hip to be square. He was... A... Townie. However, that information was unbeknownst to Stension and pel, both of whom retired to their suites for the night. Boy, did those two townies have a surprise taped to their doors in the morning: "You work for us now... Stension, you already worked for us, but we've decided to give you a different role." "See... The Golden Monolith was erected here a long time ago, and despite what forces the free market may have in this town, the black market, organized crime will always exist. And it will always exist here, in the Golden Monolith." "Now, pel, we know you're a pro. We know we don't have to worry about you... But Stension, we read your employment review files. We feel you might need a bit of motivating." "Breakfast first. On the house." A pile of bodies lay by the buffet; everyone who died but did not die out in the desert, on a plane, by cocaine, in a dam, on webcam, etc. Stension got the hint. "Horseheads are such a cliche," foobar appeared from behind a door, "besides, I like horses. Now you two have a job. You will go on hotels.com, and you will write a review of the Golden Monolith. You will say how great an experience you had here, and how Vegas is still alive, and not some... Overgrown light-and-sound amusement park. You will write this review, or you will join these lovely people enjoying our omelets." "And then when you've done that, you will come back here." kishi the redshirt came in through the kitchen. "You will come back here, and you will make sure the Golden Monolith is run we want it run. You will get bats, and you will get gats. You will wear suits, and shoes not boots. You will run our operation in Vegas and make this fucking..." "The term's fiat currency." "Fucking fiat currency work for us, else you're gonna take a little train ride. We're gonna take back Vegas. The Strip? Bah. Cirque du Soleil? O-fucking-le. Nevada Gaming Commission? Run by my pal Timmy No-Nose. Can't smell a thing. Tragic, really." The two mobsters looked back at Stension and pel, grabbing bats from behind a table. "Or... You can go join everyone else who was here ten days ago." --- GAME OVER - MOBSTERS WIN |

Note to bodnoirbabe: that thing I said you'd forgotten that I couldn't remind you of, was that we still had an investigator. The reason it kept taking me a while to come up with reasoning was that I thought (correctly, but for the wrong reasons) I knew who the investigator and I was voting for who he voted for and then trying to come up with a good reason why afterwards to draw attention away from him. Which ended up being hilariously lucky since CapnSilver has said he only voted for people because I was voting for them.. so it was all quite a fluke that dead_bob and graham got killed at all :P Still, hito and beerboy: what goes around comes around :P |

So I was on the toilet this morning, and I had thoughts for two new games: --- Sensible Fuck-Marry-Kill Everyone receives a protection (Fuck) and a nightkill (Kill); however, during the night period, everyone has the opportunity to propose to another player. If two players should mutually agree to Marry (Marry), they share winning conditions for the rest of the game. A night PM would look like: F-M-K: sythe-(-_-)-Context In this scenario, the player will protect sythe, propose sharing win conditions with -_-, and kill Context. sythe is protected from one night kill. If -_- wishes to marry the player (by submitting or having had submit a "Marry [player]" nightaction), they can now talk secretly in PM or googlegroup. Context -- if not protected -- is killed. NOTE: Hypothetically, if 7 "Kill Context" night actions come in on one night, and only 6 "Protect Context" night actions are submitted, Context is killed. The last surviving individual or mutually married group wins. --- Sensible Blind Man's Bluff Everyone is (likely) a townie. The mob is determined by random ping-pong ball lottery. Those users who are in the mob will not be explicitly told this information. Mob nightkills are determined by blind day vote; if five (5) mobsters exist, and they vote the following during the day: 1 vote brat#3 1 vote juju 1 vote Bodnoirbabe 2 votes snowfox Snowfox is nightkilled. If the votes are tied... Well, we have ping-pong balls! If the person with the most mob votes is already dead by daykill, the next highest person in terms of daykill votes is nightkilled. If the above scenario is not possible, ping-pong balls! |
