Sounds like one of my friends. When he came out, the general response was "...and? We've been telling you this since we met you. You're the one who denied it."

He later tried to say he'd figured out the point where he came out to himself. I normally wouldn't consider it coming out if it is just to yourself, but in his case, I'd make a special exception.
