Items people started with:

Context and drewski3420 started with a replica Masamune Blade
Teknokracy had a Daruma Doll
moirati had a not-so-squeaky Nightingale Floor
Narrenschiff and Stratafyre had a full Nightingale Floor
Dismortis had a replica Murasame Blade

Replica Blades differed from their actual brethren by only working 50% of the time.
One-use items were still just that, even if it was blocked or in the event of the 50% "not happening" roll, you lost the item.

The true Blades were in the hands of the Samurai, and only became available (and handed out through random.org) after they had used the associated action.

The killer of a Geisha got the Kimono & Green Tea, be they Ninja, Ronin or Black Miko. And if the Ninja had investigated the Black Miko or the other way round, they would have been able to communicate - a bad thing for the town!

Any questions on anything? As everything obviously makes sense to me, and I can't remember which bits were hidden knowledge and which weren't ^_^

Hipatitis! had the Horagi, so he used it to save himself. A Daruma Doll (I had one too from the contest) could be used to protect yourself or your belongings.

Ugh, remind me never to try and play a game during finals again, that took waaay too long. Although I was beginning to wonder what else I could suggest "my samurai brethren" do during the night just to see if the ninja would believe me.

I highly enjoyed reading through the ninja group this time, especially this quote from juju: "In that case, there's a possible reanimation out there
from the alchemist, which I think would be used on sythe if we killed
him the first night. So it would be like poking a bear with a sharp
stick, and having him be a trusted townie who would most likely be
protected the rest of the game. " Shoulda listened to her boys, she's got my number ;)

You definitely have a peculiar kind of mafia relationship with juju - I think there must be some sort of universal law of nature against the two you being on the same side. That would be the SE equivalent of 'Dividing by Zero'.

But she was utterly correct, and I wouldn't have suggested offing you on day 1 if I had properly read the game rules and noticed the alchemist lurking there. In fact this is probably a good point to apologise to the town for playing a lousy game.

Yes, I must always be on the opposite side from sythe and kishi, and the same side as you. So if kishi is my star crossed mafia love, sythe is my destined opponent (who always wins *sigh*,) and you are my partner in "crime."

The three were down to them also being protectors. I (wrongly) thought that once they found each other, they may start protecting each other. Of course no geisha on geisha action ever happened, but hey. I can dream :)

Also a little aside, there was a potential bucket load of night kills going round (Samurai/Real Murasame, replica murasame if over (50%), Ronin, Oni's revenge/Black Miko, and Ninja) hence why the multiple protect items.

I remember that time I got killed by the ronin right after I had just slept with him. If only it had happened a week or two later I could have blamed this sickening behavior on GTA4. Thanks a lot Context. No more nookie for you >:(

So, I've spent a little time putting together a Sensible Lemmings game. There are a few kinks that need hammering out, but I could have it up and ready to roll sometime soon if there is any interest.

It'd be based off the first Lemmings game, so there'd be blockers and exploders (with some obvious functions) and the less obvious climbers, floaters, builders, etc.
