Together, they noticed five people missing. A Hubbard? No. Signs everywhere pointed to a set currently not being used. In front of the set erected a new bronze statue; a couple in embrace. It’s a very beautiful piece, but no one paid attention to it.

Inside the set stood a podium and about 500 members of the worldwide press. Speaking at the podium was DefianceFalcon.

”I am here to announce today that little Cindy -- the poor little girl who was savagely run over many nights ago -- is alive and well. In fact, she is going to come out to address you, the members of the press, momentarily. I ask you, all of you, not to use flash photography.” Shockingly, no one dared defy DefianceFalcon.

Little Cindy came out, smiled for the cameras, and made a very heartfelt speech. Each and every member of Hollywood was in tears. DefianceFalcon took the microphone again:

”We, the Producers, we able to find the person responsible for this tragedy, but that isn’t really important. Right now, we have a surprise for Little Cindy.” Oh dear…

”We were able, in our investigations to find your biological father. He worked very hard, taking very historical actions to protect you. He’s also sorry your mother, the Media Darling, couldn’t be here today. Would you like to meet him?” Little Cindy nodded sheepishly.

Context stepped out in front of the media. He waved to the cameras as though he just won an Olympic medal. He shook Cindy’s hand, then deciding to hug her and accept her as his daughter. Aww. DefianceFalcon took control of the situation again.

”Like I said, we were the Producers. We have extricated Hollywood of its most obsolete members. We have broken the Screen Actors’ Guild. I, DefianceFalcon, am the Player. The other surviving Producers are Context and the person I’d like to bring out now. Dismortis!”

Dismortis came out, quickly and quietly walking up to the microphone.

“This crisis, this tragic story, came to an end with a touch of beauty. I think back to last night, as the two of you died together in each other arms. One of you has the good afterlife, the other, not so much.”

“saranated, I do not know if you were SAG or a Producer. Your name was Marla. In death, in suicide, you earned your name.”

“assbastard, well… You had to give it to him: he had a plan. And it started to make sense, in a Tyler sort of way. No fear. No distractions."

“Jack and Marla, you totally Romeo-and-Juliet-ed each other! ~ Dismortis.”

DefianceFalcon returned to the microphone one last time, Dismortis, Context, and little Cindy joining arms with him.

”We now have the task of rebuilding Hollywood. And we need the help of every single one of you!” He pointed at the other 10 citizens of the city. “You are the directors, you are the actors, you are Hollywood!

As the citizens left, convinced happier times were on the horizon, they inspected the new bronze statue. It was of saranated and assbastard, bronzed, preserved, embraced for all times.
