I've seen his review of the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game. He hated it, and the only reason is because he sucks balls. He couldn't make it to the second level with more than one turtle. Deaf rock critics have more credibility than this stupid asshole.

It wasn't that bad: It had a fun soundtrack and an interesting set-up. Fun, differently themed levels and some left-field situations (rescuing a dead turtle was always cool.) I think the biggest problem was the absurd difficulty (particularly for kids.) Comparing it to the arcade version, which was the exact same thing for an entire game, the sequal comes up lackluster.

Turtles in Time, however, rocked your face into oblivion.

Double Dragon 3 is super easy... if you cheat. Just get a controller with turbo. Then you can do the spinning kick or the hair grab continuously. It's cheating, sure, but you can play through the game with almost no one hitting you.

But yeah, even without cheating, once you get the controls down it isn't super bad.

I love my old games. Final Fantasy III (or VI, whatever), Chrono Trigger, Mega Man X, Breath of Fire--all of these are capable of restoring me to a time when things made less sense, but I was more okay with it.

Play them, they still love you.

"I've always praised the "Rocky" movies. What a perfect string of sequel titles. "Rocky", "Rocky II", "Rocky III", "Rocky IV" and "Rocky V". No subtitles. All roman numbers. Consistent. Perfect.

But they are gonna fuck it all now by calling the new one "Rocky Balboa."
