I cool with no war, thanks. Just reading the comments on Al-Jazeera site clearly shows to me that way to many people are completely and utterly clueless about what is going on. I imagine everyone knows a bit of the truth but just glancing over the comments....way too many people are angry and it doesn't look like everyone is reading from the same book of events. Its just sad. |

I worked in a satellite tv shop once. We sold mostly StarChoice (Canadian version of Dish Network). Occasionally we'd get a FTA (Free To Air) system in on special order for someone who wanted to pick up free religious or asian/arabic programming from the open satellite signals. One time I was fiddling with a 1 meter dish and a FTA system just to see what was up there, and I stumbled across a spike while aiming and tuned in the biggest transponder and it was the Al Jazeera network. I let it run in the store for the rest of the day, just to see reactions. This was about 4 months after the WTC attack. I don't work there anymore. |
