Ghost X - That scene is semi related to the gay community. I enjoy it, but significantly more when it's women in tight latex and styrofoam hair. It's goofy entertainment, not always gay, but almost always twisted sexually (nothing like a chick setting her pubic hair on fire on stage and watching everybody stream in to see it up close, and turn around and stream away from the smell). Serious, organized Rocky Horror casts do this, BDSM/Kink clubs stage this kinda stuff semi-regularly, and the occasional local theater or University theater department hosts freaks like this. When it's good, it's a memorable experience. When it's bad, it's a memorable experience. When it's boring, it just sucks. Note that some idiot dumping a load on the stage or tossing off into a pool of their own blood immediately qualifies as 'boring'. Who *doesn't* do that at home? |
