Well, the part of the pilot they released on the net was pretty unfunny and highly derivative from FG. People said FG was a simpsons clone, but AD looks to be an exact clone.

On the plus side, it will let Seth&Co develop new character quirks but keep the same structure. I guess we are getting to the end of Stuey-Killing-Mother and Alcoholic-Dog jokes.

Where exactly is your evidence that AG is exactly like the Simpsons... and FG isn't?

I don't remember a German talking fish or an insanely Right Wing Republican father in the Simpsons. Perhaps I missed something.

You know, I wasn't all that impressed by the pilot to this one. I'm disappointed, really.

But yeah, I hope some pinhead exec doesn't see this one bombing as a sign to cancel Family Guy's Second Coming.

According to the american dad website, it was taken down due to legal reasons (although I can't think of any legal reason to take it down since it's promoting their show)

I also saw the pilot part. It looked like it was trying to hard to be Family Guy. Ironic, isn't it?

I'm hoping not one second of that original pilot (especially if it's the funniest part of the episode) makes it onto the air next Sunday. I need this to be a funny show.
