It seems to be the opening credits to an anime based on Windows ME, or the Japanese incarnation there of.

i think it's a fan mixed version of a Kotoko song .... and the song you're thinking of i think is "Princess Bride" (I wanna be Your Princess), by Kotoko, which was on an ascii Azumanga flash thing a while ago ...

I can't immediately find it, but there was a post a while back about anime characters drawn to mascot OS's. These drawings are taken from those IIRC. Some of them were quite perverse, yes including windows getting fucked by a linux distribution.

the intro looks like it was made with assorted pics from the site ... if it was a studio anime, you'd think they'd consolidate it so she's more recognizable =)

what got me though is that they actually credited seperate entities (sorry, i can't read hiragana/katakana, and only mildly successful in guessing kanji) for the original concept, the ongoing series and the manga (comic) version.

and the credits for the music goes to Kotoko (look for the screen that says: Kotoko with me XX ... that's the lyrics, and the songwriter is C.G. Mix. Producer is "I've Sound"

I read the subtitles.

It's based on the song, but they change certain words to make it sound like the song is scolding Windows. The characters seems to be animated icons pulled from various places.

Yes, I learned this heathen tongue so that I could watch flash animations on the Internet. Who gives a shit about making money?

does any1 think that they could compile a bunch of screen shots showing what happens if u click what cause ive noiced that if u do different combos u get diffent things happening later in the flash. torrent would be great :P
