quote [ Councillors voted 12-2 to back a Weta Workshops-designed tribute to former Hamiltonian and Rocky Horror Show creator Richard O'Brien for Victoria St. ]
This is happening in my hometown. Richard O'Brien used to live in Hamilton and saw lots of late night double feature picture shows in the Embassy Theatre. The theatre's since been pulled down, but the statue will be placed on its site. A couple of city councillors objected, fearing that the city would turn into Sodom and Gomorrah. Great news.

"What's an RKO?" "A really kinky orgasm." "And what is a radio picture?" "A picture of a radio." "So an RKO Radio Picture is a picture of a radio having a really kinky orgasm?" |
