One of the biggest Spampigs on this earth has been targeted by Dutch webloggers and readers since last thursday. We have been using simple scripts that succesfully overloaded the mail- and webservers of customerblast.com. Please read on...
Customerblast immediately reacted with mailbombs and ddos attacks on several Dutch webloggers. Since last friday all traffic from the Netherlands and Belgium is blocked by customerblast, which I consider a big succes: Customerblast has sacrificed a market share!
[politics] [by Ini@3:33pmGMT] [+10 Good] The intention of this post is to mobilize Americans to assist us in the war on spam, since our possibilities have been severely restricted. Customerblast will be in difficulties if it has to block traffic from within the United States. And that is exactly the aim of this operation... As said, we used simple scripts that overloaded the customerblast servers. I put a few of them together in a zip file, which can be downloaded here: http://www.xs4all.nl/~inikim/reet/customerblast_usa.zip But I suppose you Americans are smart enough to invent some deadly scripts yourself... |

Hello, We sure did start a war on this spammer after our mailboxes and the mailboxes of people who had given a comment on the posts has been flooded with mailbombs. Some scripts and programs can be found on this site. The original threads can be found on retecool, volkomenkut and Bastard Inc. Other scripts can be found here and here. The best way is to host this scripts on a server wich has PHP and mail on board. Good luck! |

Cool, I'll be more than happy to contribute. I'm just curious, although I have excellent security on my PC and network, is there anyway I could recieve attacks back? |

Inside the zip file, mentioned in the post, is a readme.txt, with the most important information on the scripts. Also extensive information on customerblast (Sorensen.txt) is included. Go get them people! |

Maybe needless to mention, but the whole idea is ofcourse that as many people as possible participate. That means all of you who read this should spread the given information to as many people you can. The nice thing about internet is that that shouldn't be much of a problem. So use your blogs and sites to reach those who are more then willing to fight against spam. It worked in the netherlands for a while, but you people out there in the USA can give the sucker a real painful kick in the ass! |

@ racerx The html files in the zip can and should be run locally. There's practically no risk involved in doing that. |

UPDATE I seems as though some damage is being done, the CustomerBlast website is no longer loading and the html file that steals bandwith off their site is no longer loading. |

The war on spam continues; all IP-addresses from the Netherlands and Belgium are being blocked by Customerblast. If you do have access to the customerblast website, and do want to help in fighting spam in this , manner, please use the script mentioned above, or use the application from http://software.marbus.net/software/dwnld.asp?app=reteflood (a little note with this application: set 'invisible items' to 128 or 256 and leave it running for a few hours. The more people use this, the more the customerblast webserver will slow down and eventually crash) Assuming no government will stop the spammers, guess we will have to do it ourself. |

For all of you who actually run the scripts created to harm the customerblast website: you may stop doing that. www.customerblast.com is no longer (for the moment). In a desperate revenge attempt, they redirect traffic to their site to a Dutch isp and host. |
