The artist chosen would become a syndicated cartoonist, and my entry is one of the finalists! It would be a dream-come-true for me to be selected. Oh yeah, everyone else... The reason why I have been absent from the list lately is cuz my mom is going in for open heart surgery tomorrow. They found a small fatty tumor inside her left atrium. Also they found a slight problem with a valve, and an artery is 40% clogged. So they're gonna have to do a bypass, and if they find they can, then they are gonna replace the valve. Everything is fine though. I'm fine with this, she's fine, the rest of the family is fine.... PS: mike, this is why I IMed you earlier. Talk to you all soon, ~Tim

Besides having an awesome birthday party (the first real one I've had since my 10th or so), this year has given me lots of things to be thankful for: - I have an amazingly-awesomely-super-excellent job as a video game artist now. After years of refining my demo reel and applying and applying and APPLYING, I'm now a paid artist making Nintendo DS games, and it feels GOOD. My first game should be released in October or so, and I will be sure to let everyone know. - I escaped Dungeon Apartment of Doom, just before the roaches came back. - I found out that the Unfit comic that turned me down is being cancelled because the guy they picked couldn't work with the writer (or something similar) so that was a nice bit of schadenfreude. - A couple of my earlier animated projects were shown on cable TV. That was awesome. I'm currently checking to see if that makes me eligible for the IMDb. Many, many happy returns to me! Thanks everyone!
